INTERNATIONAL JUDO KATA CAMP

Each summer the Kodokan hosts a 7-day international kata camp where all seven Kodokan kata are studied and practiced under the watchful eyes of the Kodokan’s highest ranking instructors. The seven kata include nage-no-kata, katame-no-kata, kime-no-kata, ju-no-kata, Kodokan goshin-jutsu, koshiki-no-kata, and itsutsu-no-kata.

This years camp had over 160 judoka from 40+ countries including Japan, Korea, France, Brazil, Canada, Hong Kong, Argentina, Australia, and the USA
