Even one minute of “Mokuso” at the end of training gives judoka the opportunity to examine how we trained that evening, what we could have done better, and what we intend to do better next time. But on a broader scale, the martial artist should be constantly examining his or her own life so as to become a better “warrior” and a better person. Living the principles of Bushido and Professor Kano are good steps in the right direction.
